NBA at the Madison Square Garden

The NBA (National Basketball Association) is the premier men's professional basketball league in the world, while the Madison Square Garden is the most important in-door arena in Manhattan. Being this so, sport and entertainment combine in what is one of the most exciting events to watch here in New York.

Some classmates and I decided to buy tickets for the Nicks vs Celtics match for Tuesday evening. We were very excited about the event from the moment we got the tickets and we were not disappointed at all. I believe it is a cultural aspect of Americans the way they experience these type of events: the cheerleaders, the music, the screens, the lights, the food... it was an on-going show! And fortunately, the Knicks won! So now, I am a fan!

Even if you are not much into sports (I am not), I highly recommend this event if you have the time and can afford the tickets (at least, the cheapest ones). It is something you can only experience here in the USA, and no-where else! ;-)

  1. That sounds like a plan! I'm going today to see the Red Storm... hope I have a great time, just like you did.
