I'm twenty-eight years old and I've been teaching English since I was fourteen. However, this is my very first time in an English-speaking country. Thus, I am as excited and thrilled as you can all imagine.
So far, NYC has been good to me. And it's all I had imagined, too. It's a lively, multi-cultural and ordered city, and I can't wait to know more about it.
I've left my family and friends back home, and I miss my daughter so much. And as the rest of us, I've sacrificed my holidays! But I know this training course will be worth it. I feel so lucky to be part of it!
Apart from EFL, I'm really into ICT and education (in fact, I have a blog on that!), so I'd love to learn more on that field. And it's awesome to be able to do it with my Argentinian colleagues.
BFN!

Hi Mel!
ReplyDeleteI´m as excited as you! New York is breath taking and I've also noticed the multicultural aspect of this city. Sometimes when I´m on the subway I feel as if I were in Buenos Aires: the setting and people look very familiar to me.
It´s great to share this experience with you. I´d love to see your blog on ICT, please post the link.
See you, Mel.
Love,
Vane
